Our most recent community cleanup on Saturday May 4, 2019 in the parking lot of West Springfield Elementary was a huge success! Fairfax County Department of Public Works brought in several tractor-trailer style dumpsters along with a huge crane to pick up items from the ground. There was a steady stream of SUV's, pick-up trucks, and cars all morning. We even had a few walk-ups! Quite a few lawn mowers, washers, dryers, and barbecue grills made their exit from our neighborhood, not to mention screen doors, old fencing, televisions, and other large items.
Our next Community Cleanup will be in late April or early May 2020 (Date & Time TBD).
